Scripts

2007

Wheel in the Sky [First] [Second]
My own personal attempt at ‘Gosh, oh my how clever - clever he is my GOD i’m the next Charlie Kaufman’ style wankery - a literary theorist finds himself falling backwards through a story

Trampled Underfoot [First] [Second]
Graves a disabled yet brilliant university student finds himself embroiled in political intrigue, murder and adultery. And you thought your undergrad years were tough!

Statutory 2000
1. ‘Pilot’ [First] [Second] [Third] [Fourth] [Final]
2. ‘The Party’ [First]
Our intrepid hero is hurled into the strange and confusing year 2000. Well, I couldn’t let a character like the Prof go, could I?

2006

Statutory [First] [Shooting]
Me & Matt had a competition to devise the worst TV concept ever - A Crime Solving Academic and his girlfriend solve crimes. The twist? She’s 12

The Law Clinic [First]
Irish-Man [First]
Fidel Castro and His Dancing Monkey [First]

Spatchcock QC [First] [Second] [Third]
I woke up one morning and wrote Spatchcock and The Popstar Manglers in one 45 minute rush, later given a lot of tightening by Mr Mitch Magee, who is lovely.

The Popstar Manglers [First] [Second Unfinished] [Third Unfinished] [Fourth Unfinished]
Best described as ‘Thank You for Smoking’ with Cows. The scattiness of the redrafts is because I want to get it perfect

New York Stories [First Unfinished] [Second]
A show which highlights and exorcises my complete and total contempt for those films in which a typical ‘New York’ type (Clooney) wanders around reading books in coffee shops, all day every day, just waiting for a romantic adventure. Jammy fucking bastards. Two brothers reunite after one is dumped by his girlfriend only to find the other one living this utopian lifestyle, with the backing of his credit cards.

A Man Alone [First] [Second Unfinished]
Another bitter one - this one based on my limited experience of trying to join UKC’s (insular) improv comedy troupe. They could certainly act the ‘cold shoulder’, even when they weren’t performing.

Joolz: The Jewel of New York [Unfinished]
Maximillion & America! [Unfinished]
The Footballer [Unfinished]
Apocalypso! [Unfinished]
Thick As. [Unfinished]
