Scratch that - he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

2007 - 2008

Dan Cooper – a 23 year old Law Studying for his PGDip. Legal Practice at ICSL in London, 5’’11, raised in Lowestoft, enjoys reading (Hence a current experiment in reading 52 books in 6 months), writing, taking his cameras out and pointing them at things / people and sitting very still. Holds an insane belief that playing sport is the devil’s work and protests it by not doing any. Working hard to become a full-blown Lawyer, one day dreaming of running a City IP or Company law department, or even better – Advocacy in either field. Started talking in the 3rd person this year, he may also be the Kwisatz Haderach.

2006-2007

I’m a 22 year old Law student at the University of Kent at Canterbury. However, I hail from Lowestoft after my entire family created a mass exodus from Middlesex in the 80’s. When I picked up Geoffrey Eugenidies book in the shop, I had expected some sort of commentary on the borough. I live with my friend Matthew and no-one else. To my utter delight, we have escaped the wannabe Sloane-Ranger-Nigella-Lawson-clone and the fount of money she’s duping into believing she’s in love with that we endured last year. Whee.

I’m in my final year of Law School, and as a consequence am going to be discussing, at length, the places I should and could go, what to do and how to do them, my current career options are to stump up the £10k to go study at ICSL/College of Law in the centre of the City of Westminster and fufil my dream of becoming a proper lawyer and moving to London, or go find work in some other sector. £10k is a lot of money. I’m sure you all see.

If you were to meet me, you would probably want to hit me. It’s something that happens. I am also incapable of organisation, so if you require me to do something, please remind me. Thankfully for me, I’m married to the world’s most organised girl. Which is something.

When I’m not pretending to study Law, I’m expressing myself creativley. Selected hilights are scattered throughout blog entries - at some point I shall list and include everything I have done on the site, when I’ve got 12 or 14 hours to manage it. I am Web2.0’s bitch - I blog, Youtube and Flickr. Usually it’s funny stuff. Apparently I’m on Kent Labour Student’s debating team this year. This is so I can indulge my passion of taking the piss out of Conservatives to their face. Losers.

2005-2006

I’m a 21 year old Law student currently bouncing between Canterbury and Lowestoft. I currently live in with my friend Matthew, his Ex-Girlfriend, her new boyfriend and my next door neighbour. Despite the fact this sounds like the set up for a sitcom, we rarely indulge in hilarious activities. I bought my first iMac three weeks before Steve announced the shinier one with an iSight built in. When I started to see all these wonderful people using Flickr, I started to take Very Bad Pictures on my Ericsson T610. Following this obsession, I upgraded to a Gorgeous K750i However, I’m still very bad at taking photos. . I share a birthday with Matt Damon and Pavarotti. Despite this, I cannot headline a Doug Liman movie, or belt out Nessundorma at 100 paces. You may know of me as the editor of Big Lens the Kent Film Magazine , a former contributor to Sci-Fix , the onetime auteur behind The New Adventures of Stickman and as a fat bloke in two episodes of Look Around You - details of which can be found at Flickr.

To my shame I’ve been blogging for the last five six years.

This site wouldn’t be here if not for:

  • Ed Jennings Who hosts me & my crazy endeavours
  • Mat Mannion Mat hosted and coded a huge amount of Planeteleven’s past, and had to tolerate my constant bugging him for new tips and stuff. He is a saint in every definition of the word.
  • The CSS pioneers, Todd Dominey, Robert Dumas & Paul Sowden Who I purloined (Probably against their want) from their CSS files in order to learn, and I used Sowden’s styleswitcher script, because it’s awesome.
  • Everyone who has ever read Planeteleven You’re all the man.
